Economic and financial committee: The Cryptocurrency Controversy of Today

Since the beginning of this new millennium, the world has witnessed the emergence of countless new technologies, with one of the most recent being cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has allowed for a new approach to monetary transactions as we know it, allowing it to become decentralized, transparent and direct. It is up to this committee to answer the controversial questions that currently revolve around cryptocurrency. Is it feasible in the long run and can it be applied globally? If it is, can it be properly regulated or should it be regulated? This committee is tasked with discussing the tough topics that government officials around the world have not been able to solve yet as well finding creative yet feasible solutions that address the concern of a possible fall in currency value and cyber threats associated with the use of this new technology.
