United nations environment programme: conference on environmental sustainability

Currently, more than 92% of the world lives in an area that exceeds a safe amount of air pollution. While many individuals are in favor of sustainable practices, true impact can only come from nations holding each other accountable in moving forward with new polices and practices. It is up to this committee to explore options ranging from starting a transition towards renewable energy to making changes in unsustainable sectors such as fashion and agriculture. This committee should look to find innovative and realistic solutions that can be implemented globally in pursuit of protecting the longevity of the planet and its vast resources.
